Best Zempire Air Tents

Here you have my selection of Zempire air tents from several of their best known series, all supported with inflatable beams, easy to use, nicely ventilated, comfortable and reliable.

Zempire is a brand from New Zealand and they build outdoor equipment that can withstand their invigorating weather. Tents build for such an environment can stand up to any conditions anywhere in the world.

Their tents are meticulously constructed for ease of use, packability, and extra comfort. They claim that they continually test new ideas and use them in practice. Their products are available in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and North America.

I have presented here tents from their Polycotton Series, Pro Series, and Dura Series. The polycoton tents are designed to breathe and they are ultimate solution for humidity during the warmer months.

The Pro Series is made from durable materials and with inflatable frame that is quick to set up and even quicker to pack away. These tents are exceptionally durable and wind-resistant with a waterhead rating ensuring you and your family stay dry and warm.

The Dura series tents are for the ultimate family camping experience, with inflatable beams, large floored area, multiple rooms, and a high waterproof rating for full protection.

My list of the best Zempire Air Tents

The tents in the list below are ordered by the floor area, from smaller to larger.

1. Zempire Aero TM PRO TC Tent

This tent is built from a strong and long lasting 200 g/m² polyester and cotton mix 65/35%. This polycotton blend is breathable and it naturally eliminates condensation and keeps a comfortable atmosphere inside the tent. This material also provides a great noise reduction and a shield from the wind. So the tent can be described as a true 4-season camping tent.

The official capacity is 3 people, but for this you have one inner bedroom, a large living room, and a fully protected porch. In addition, there is a storage area within its inner tent next to the bedroom.

Here are some numbers. The total floored area is 125 ft² (11.6 m²) and the porch adds around 44.1 ft² (4.1 m²). The tent is heavy, it weighs 83.8 lb (38 kg) and its packed size is 33.5 x 20.5 x 20.5 inches (85 x 52 x 52 cm).

Note that it is very tall, the peak height is 82.7 inches (210 cm). There are 3-5 doors, dependent on how you unzip some of them. The doors on the sides are equipped with small brims for a dry entry.

The tent is supported with air beams, but it comes with several aluminum poles for the awning and those brims above the side doors. Ventilation is at its best, so the tent will perform great in any climate and in any weather conditions.

2. Zempire Aero TL PRO Series Tent

This tent is one of those without solid poles, you have air beams instead. I am not sure if the word Aero in the name is related to this or to the fact that this tent offers an incredible ventilation.

The tent is officially for 5 people, but for this you have 3 rooms plus a large porch which is fully protected. So you have 187.2 ft² (17.4 m²) of the floored area plus 54.9 ft² (5.1 m²) in the porch. As you realize, this is a true camping castle.

There are 5 doors here, and you have tinted solid windows plus skylight windows. The tent is very tall and tunnel-type with the peak height of 89 inches (225 cm). The bedrooms are dark rest type with considerably reduced daylight. You also have multiple cable entry points and there is a pair of poles in the package which you can use to create an awning.

The tent offers full protection in any weather conditions, you have a huge 10000 mm waterproof rating. Note that they give a 4-year warranty with this tent.

The weight is 70.5 lb (32 kg), and the packed size is (L x D) 32.3 x 20.1 inches (82 x 51 cm). I have included this tent also in my list of best camping tents with a screen porch. Please see more in this video:

3. Zempire Aero TXL Dura Inflatable Family Tent

This tent is officially for 6 or 8 people. The reason for this 8 is that you can order one extra inner tent and have yet another bedroom for 2 people. In any case, the tent includes a large inner tent with three separate bedrooms, a large living room, and a gigantic porch which is fully closable and it looks like a floorless room. So one could describe it as a 4-room plus porch tent.

But wait to see its area. You have the total floored area of 242 ft² (22.5 m²) and the mentioned porch/room has 146 ft² (13.6 m²). The peak height is 88.6 inches (225 cm). The weight is 75.4 lb (34.2 kg).

The tent has both mesh and solid windows, and its ventilation is very typical for this brand, and this means it is perfect. The doors are with mesh for ventilation, and you have numerous low and high vents on all the sides of the tent.

The bedrooms are darkened and the shell fabric is with a very high waterproof rating and tested to torrential rains, with all seams taped and sealed. Its UV rating is SPF 50+. Pitching is simple and easy because of its inflatable beams, and one person can do the job easily. A double-action pump with pressure gauge and adaptor is included.

Final thoughts

So this was my selection of the best Zempire Air Tents, as you realize they all are huge and they can accommodate far more people that what their official capacity suggests. The official capacity is only about the number of places in the bedrooms, but here you always have a large living room with a full protection.

All these tents are designed to work in practically any environment and in almost all seasons. You have excellent ventilation, huge waterproof rating, a fully sewn-in and sealed floor, darkened bedrooms, and much more.
