Coleman Camping Tables

Coleman makes everything you might need in the camp, and there are many of its products here in the site. In this text, the focus is on Coleman camping tables, and I have prepared a selection of very different items for variety of outdoor activities.

Some of the tables are true outdoor cooking centers with a variety of features. But all the tables here are very different, so have a look and I am sure you will find something for you.

Here are the tables ordered by weight from heavier to lighter:

When you check the tables in the list below, you will realize that more weight usually implies more functionality. So more weight is not necessarily a bad feature.

1. Coleman Pack-Away Deluxe Portable Kitchen

When you see what this Coleman Pack-Away Deluxe Portable Kitchen offers, you realize the meaning of the word deluxe in the name.

But first about the words ‘pack-away’. This means that it folds into itself with all the elements that you see in the picture, and it becomes an elegant box that measures 39.5 x 20 x 7 inches (100 x 51 x 18 cm).

The set is incredibly functional and supported with an aluminum frame. You have a removable sink and a side stand where you can use any camping grill or stove. You also have a side basket and a storage shelf, and it includes a lantern holder as well. There are a few more parts, like a paper towel holder for example.

The weight is 33.07 lb (15 kg), and the dimensions when unfolded (L x D x H) are 73.3 x 19.7 x 79 inches (186 x 50 x 200 cm). This height is with the lantern hanger extended to the maximum.

The prep surface dimensions are 39.4 x 19.7 inches (100 x 50 cm), and the side stand dimensions are 26.4 x 15 inches (67 x 38 cm).

2. Coleman Pack-Away Portable Kitchen

This is a complete camping kitchen as its name suggests, and you realize this also from the picture. Yet, this all is very portable and elegant when packed. It packs into the tabletop that folds. So when packed for transportation, you have a box that measures only 32 x 11 x 4 inches (81 x 28 x 10 cm).

The weight of the whole set is only 13.9 lb (6.3 kg), and its overall dimensions when unfolded are (L x W x H) 56.7 x 21.3 x 66.1 inches (144 x 54 x 168 cm). The height is with the lantern hanger.

The tabletop is an engineered medium-density fiberboard. Its dimensions are 31.5 x 21.3 inches (80 x 54 cm), and its height is 30 inches (76 cm).

You have an accordion-type aluminum frame with legs and support bars. The two-segment lantern hanger is removable. There is also a removable hanger for utensils, two cross poles for support, and a storage mesh underneath the tabletop.

From the picture you realize there is also a side stand for a cooler or for a grill. Coleman makes its own grills and coolers that fit this stand. This side part measures around 27.8 x 20.5 inches (71 x 52 cm). I have included this table also in my list of best rated portable camping kitchen tables.

What I like:

• Compact for transportation.
• Lightweight.
• Lantern hanger.
• Great price.

What I dislike:

• Tabletop not for hot items.

3. Coleman Living Collection Table

There are several good reasons for having this Coleman Living Collection Folding Table here in the list. It has telescopic legs and it offers two heights. So this is a versatile item and you can use it as a dining table and as a side table.

The frame is aluminum and the tabletop is a wood grain finish. It is very easy to use and with a carry bag included. You fold it in half its width, so the folded size is 47.2 x 14.17 x 4.5 inches (120 x 36 x 11 cm).

As you realize it is long when folded, but this is its actual length. The overall dimensions when unfolded and in its higher setup are (L x W x H) 47.2 x 27.6 x 27.6 inches (120 x 70 x 70 cm). The weight is reasonable 12.5 lb (5.7 kg). It is included in my separate post about Coleman Living Collection.

What I like:

• Ease of use.
• Cool tabletop.
• Carry bag.

What I dislike:

• The folded length.

4. Coleman Pack-Away 4-in-1 Adjustable Height Folding Camping Table

I would start with the phrase 4-in-1 in its name. The meaning is the following:

• You can use it as a square table shown in the picture above.
• But you can arrange the two parts so that it is used as a long buffet table.
• You can also use them as two separate tables.
• Finally, you can use them side by side but as a bi-level table.

The mentioned bi-level option is related to the fact that it has adjustable legs. The table offers 3 different heights, 14.5, 27.5, 31.5 inches (37, 70, 80 cm).

But there is more to this. You can screw the shortest 4-inch sections into the basic 14.5-inch legs and this will give you the fourth height of 18.5 inches (47 cm).

This means you have two low configurations for a side table, and also two heights for a real dining table. You also have fine-tuning leveling feet, a useful feature which you need for outdoor use.

As for the frame, this is aluminum and this is reflected in the weight which is only 12.3 lb (5.6 kg). The weight capacity of this table is 300 lb (136 kg).

Each tabletop dimensions are 31.5 x 15.5 inches (80 x 40 cm). It packs in itself, so you have an elegant and compact box. The packed size is 31.5 x 16 x 3 inches (80 x 41 x 8 cm), so it is incredibly thin. You also have a carry handle on the side.

So this was my selection of Coleman camping tables, and you realize that these are very different models for various outdoor activities. I do not put forward any of them as an Editor’s Choice table because of so different functionality and features.

But if you want something for cooking and grilling, definitely consider the first two tables in the list. The other two are more multipurpose and very suitable to be used as dining tables.
