1. Coleman Even-Temp Propane Stove 3-Burner

Coleman Eventemp 3 Burner Propane Stove.
Coleman Eventemp 3 Burner Propane Stove.

This stove comes with three burners so that the combined cooking power is 28000 BTU/h. This means 11500 BTU in each of the two side burners and 5000 BTU in the central burner. You can adjust all of them independently and create consistent heat across the cooking area. My guess is this is behind the words Even-Temp in the name.

The stove comes in a box with a lid and its overall dimensions are 26 x 18.5 x 6 inches (66 x 47 x 15 cm). This is large enough to use two 12-inches pans or three 8-inches pans simultaneously.

It is equipped with their standard Instastart push-button ignition and with the so-called PerfectFlow pressure control technology designed to keep the heat steady regardless of the altitude. You also have the WindBlock panels shown in the picture.

You have a durable chrome-plated grate that is removable for easy cleaning, and an aluminized steel cooktop for durable rust resistance. The burners are stainless steel. The weight is 19.8 pounds (9 kg). The stove comes with a 3-year limited warranty.

What I like:

  • 3 Burners.
  • Large cooking area.
  • Integrated ignition.
  • 3-Years warranty.

What I dislike:

  • Not easy to adjust the temperature.

2. Coleman FyreSergeant 3-IN-1 Propane Stove

Coleman FyreSergeant 3-IN-1 Propane Stove.
Coleman FyreSergeant 3-IN-1 Propane Stove.

This is a stove with two burners with a total power of 22000 BTU. The phrase 3-IN-1 in its name implies the following. It comes with two Swaptop compatible grill grates, which can be changed out with the included pan supports. These grill grates incorporate a DripTrap water pan that catches grease for easy cleaning in the dishwasher.

So you can use burners only, grill grates only, or combined one burner and one grill grate, this is the meaning of 3-in-1.

You do not see the usual windshields on the sides, but here you have wind blocks circularly positioned around the burners. This provides 360° of wind protection. The stove comes with what they call their “revolutionary HyperFlame technology” for an even heat distribution across the pan and better wind resistance to cut boiling time in half when compared to its competitors. This is a patent-pending design.

The stove has an integrated Instastart push-button ignition and separate knobs to adjust burners. Yet another term they introduce in specifications is the PerfectFlow pressure control technology for a steady fuel stream and consistent burner performance.

The dimensions are 27 x 18 x 8 inches (69 x 46 x 20 cm). The stove weighs 16.1 lb (7.3 kg). So it is heavy but it is large and with extra grates. This stove is also in my list of best Coleman camping gas stoves.

What I like:

  • Great 3-years warranty.
  • Burners and grill grates.
  • Integrated ignition.

What I dislike:

  • Hard to adjust the power.

3. Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove

Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove.
Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove.

This stove is portable to short distances, and this means that you have it packed in a box that measures itself 23.5 x 13.5 x 4 inches (60 x 34 x 10 cm), and its weight 12 pounds (5.4 kg).

So it is a bit long but note how thin the box is. You will not even notice it in the car trunk. Such a length also means that you can use 2 pans or pots up to 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter each. As you realize this is a large cooking space.

There are two burners here and each of them is with 20000 BTU power. So this is a strong stove and you will not find many stoves on the market of such a size that can match this. It works great even when it is windy, there are windshields on the side, plus the lid, you can see them all in the picture. It simmers well, you have automatic ignition and very good heat distribution.

What I like:

  • Great power.
  • Auto-ignition.
  • Windshields.
  • Stable cooking.

What I dislike:

  • Unreliable regulators.

4. Coleman Gas Camping Stove Triton+ Propane 2 Burner

Coleman Gas Camping Stove Triton+ Propane 2 Burner.
Coleman Gas Camping Stove Triton+ Propane 2 Burner.

This Coleman Triton+ Propane 2-Burner propane camp stove has been on the market for many years and it is a high-performance product with 11000 BTU power for each of its two burners. It has independently adjustable controls for the burners. You will need around 3 minutes to boil 1 liter of water.

You have a slim and portable box that measures 23 x 12 x 7 inches (58 x 30 x 18 cm). The stove works on a propane canister shown in the picture. It is equipped with an easy-to-use Instastart ignition and with what they call the PerfectHeat Technology to have the right temperature.

There is also an integrated PerfectFlow Pressure Control System that keeps the heat steady on each of the two burners. The picture also shows its folding WindBlock shields that keep the wind from blowing the flames away. The cooking area is large, you have seen the dimensions, so you can use one 10-inches and one 12-inches pot at the same time.

The construction is durable steel, and the grate visible in the picture is a nickel-chrome, easy to clean. The distance between burners is 11 inches (28 cm), and the weight of the stove is 11 pounds (5 kg).

What I like:

  • The cooking size.
  • Reliable ignition.
  • Windshields.
  • Elegant carry box.
  • 3-Year warranty.

What I dislike:

  • Very sensitive knobs adjustment.

5. Jetboil Genesis Basecamp Camping Cooking System

Jetboil Genesis Basecamp Camping Cooking System.
Jetboil Genesis Basecamp Camping Cooking System.

Here you have an award-winning dual-burner system. So perhaps it is best to explain first what makes it a system. This is because of its several elements that include the following:

  1. A 2-burner stove shown in the picture. It is folding and you have a handle on the top. When open, you have two stainless steel burners with 3.25 inches (8.2 cm) in diameter.
  2. A 5-liter FluxPot aluminum pot shown on the right. It is equipped with two handles on the sides and a lid. Note that the lid has a strainer on the side. The pot has what they call the flux ring on the bottom, this is added for increased burning efficiency ad to save fuel.
  3. A 10-inch FryPan which is a ceramic-coated nonstick pan with a folding handle. It is in the picture on the left.
  4. There is a nice carry bag.
  5. You also get a flexible translucent plastic windscreen.

Other features include simmer control and a lever igniter. The weight is 9.1 lb (4.1 kg) and the power is 10000 BTU/h. It boils 1 liter of water in 3 min 15 sec. The packed size is (H x D) 10.75 x 8.5 inches (27 x 22 cm).

What I like:

  • Compact.
  • Easy to use.
  • Lightweight.
  • Great carry bag.

What I dislike:

  • The price.

6. Stansport Outfitter Series Propane Camp Stove with 3 Burners

Stansport Outfitter Series Propane Camp Stove with 3 Burners.
Stansport Outfitter Series Propane Camp Stove with 3 Burners.

This stove comes with 3 burners visible in the picture, so it is well-designed and really powerful. Two burners on the sides are with 25000 BTU power and the one in the middle is 10000 BTU. So the combined power is 60000 BTU, and this all is in the body that measures
23 x 12.75 x 4.3 inches (58 x 32 x 11 cm) and weighs 7.77 lb (3.52 kg).

It comes with windscreens and it is easy to use. You start by opening the lid and setting the windshields in the position, there are slots in the lid where they fit. After that, screw the regulator and the propane into the stove and this is all. You have a Piezo ignitor system in place, so this is just turning a knob.

It boils water fast as you would expect in view of the mentioned power. The stove offers an excellent simmering feature, and it is best to use the middle burner for this regime. Note that it comes with a high-altitude pressure regulator for even heat. There is a handle on the bottom, and this is not so great design, it is sharp, and you carry the stove vertically.

What I like:

  • 3 Burners.
  • Easy to use.
  • Lightweight.
  • Great simmering.

What I dislike:

  • Not a great carry handle.
